This whipped orange butter is so easy to prepare, healthy, and simply delicious.
- Allow 1 stick of grass fed butter to come to room temperature.
- When ready place the butter in a bowel and using a spatula whip the butter to your desired consistency.
- Take a fresh orange (organic if possible) and with a zester go around it taking only the bright color (no white) as you go along. Anywhere from a 1/4-1/2 tsp. should do it.
- Fold the zest into the butter, allowing the citrus oils to blend throughout. Serve in your favorite dish! Place in the refrigerator when not in use.
I tend to reserve this delight for special occasions and parties, but you can enjoy it anytime you’d like to jazz up your butter.
